Genk-Blankenberge-Genk

(
2014
)

The artist as a stowaway: Philips takes the train and hides between the seats, where people normally stow their luggage. As an ironic way of camouflaging himself, he wears a sweater knitted in the same pattern of the seats in Belgian trains. He commutes from Genk to Blankenberge and back, crossing all Flemish provinces from east to west and back.
